Welcome to Trish Onken Art!

Thanks for visiting my blog page. Here, I will show the process behind how I make some of my artworks and the places I collect my inspiration from. Bruno, the world's Worst Studio Assistant, will also feature heavily, which seems only fair since he's always with me.

The photo above was taken in November 2023 and we were walking in the vineyards above a pretty town called Ehnen in Luxembourg. Ehnen sits on the Moselle River and as you walk among the vines, the view across the rooftops of Ehnen and the broad silver river is to the little town of Hettermillen in Germany, which also sits among vineyards of riesling and pinot noir grapes. It's a wonderfully peaceful place to walk and outside of harvest time, you really don't meet too many other people, although this could have something to do with the outrageous hills you have to climb to get up to the vineyards! As you can see from the picture, there weren't many leaves left on the vines for me to collect that day, although I did find some nice pinot gris leaves to print with, and you can see the resulting work on the Portfolio page, cheers!
